Team China broke a world record during the first round of women’s team sprint and followed it up by defeating Russia in the gold medal matchup. Jinjie Gong and Tianshi Zhong set the world record with a time of 31.928 seconds and will both take home gold.
Germany will take home the bronze medal after defeating Team Australia by just .002 seconds.
