Great Britain’s Jason Kenny wins men’s keirin, his third gold in Rio

The men’s keirin was restarted twice due to infringement on the derny, but on the third try, Great Britain’s Jason Kenny won the men’s keirin for his third gold medal of the Rio Games.

Matthijs Buchli of the Netherlands took home the silver medal.

Malaysia’s Azizulhasni Awang outsprinted Germany’s Joachim Eilers, the current keirin world champion, on the final stretch to bring home the bronze.
