Medals awarded in golf for the first time in 112 years

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL (WHDH) - Medals were awarded in golf for the first time in 112 years.

After going shot-for-shot all day, Great Britain’s Justin Rose beat out Henrik Stenson to win the gold medal.

American Matt Kuchar delivered an amazing performance to win bronze.

Rose now takes the title Olympic champion from Canadian George Lyon, who last won it in 1904.
