The U.S. women’s volleyball team looks to shift into cruise control as the quarterfinals await just around the corner.

Following wins against Puerto Rico, the Netherlands and Serbia, Team USA sits atop Pool B with eight points entering the fourth of five preliminary matches Friday.

Now the U.S. team will take on an Italy squad that has yet to win a set in Rio at 2 p.m. Friday.

The upstart Netherlands squad immediately follows the Americans with a match against Puerto Rico at 4 p.m.

Here is the rest of Friday’s schedule:

8:30 a.m. – China vs. Serbia

10:30 a.m.Argentina vs. Cameroon

7:30 p.m.Russia vs. Japan

9:30 p.m. Brazil vs. South Korea

Men’s volleyball continues Saturday morning again for their fourth day of prelims.

Women’s quarterfinals begin Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 9 a.m.
