ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) — A former pharmacist in Massachusetts who stole antidepressants while on the job has been placed on probation.

Brian Anderson pleaded guilty Friday to stealing 20 pills during his overnight shift at a North Attleborough CVS. The Sun Chronicle reports that the 30-year-old Anderson has been working there for about two months before the thefts were reported in March.

His case was continued without a finding and will be dismissed if he has no further brushes with the law.

Anderson voluntarily surrendered his license in May to the state Board of Registration in Pharmacy and he is not authorized to work as a pharmacist.

His lawyer says he is currently submitting to random drug testing.
