TOPSFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) – Police are investigating after a 64-year-old woman was shot in the chest inside her home in Topsfield Saturday.
Officers responding to a report of someone shot on Juniper Lane about 4:25 p.m. found the victim inside her home.
She was rushed by ambulance to Beverly Hospital with what was considered a non-life-threatening injury.
Investigators say another relative was inside the home at the time of the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting remains under investigation.
