NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Police in Connecticut are investigating the death of a motorcycle operator who got stuck in the windshield of a car following a crash and was driven around for two blocks before becoming dislodged.
New Haven police say the collision occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Witnesses told police the motorcycle operator was thrown into the air, landed on the car’s hood, and his head went through the windshield.
The car sped off, drove a short distance, and the biker fell to the ground when the car took a left turn.
Police found the car’s grille at the scene and are now looking for a gray 2002 Mercury Sable with front end and windshield damage.
The victim died at the scene and his name was not immediately made public.
