FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) — An art exhibit satirizing President Donald Trump has been canceled at a town arts center after its leaders worried it would make them appear biased.

The Cape Cod Times reports that Artist Salley Mavor withdrew her show at Highfield Hall and Gardens in Falmouth after an official at the facility told her to eliminate the political content or pull the exhibit entirely.

Mavor, of Falmouth, planned to display about 20 scenes with figurines depicting Trump and his staff. In one , a Trump figure stands before three mirrors with the caption, “Three branches of U.S. government: me, myself and I.”

Highfield Hall’s executive director, Peter Franklin, said trustees are developing a policy to decide if political exhibits should be allowed.

Mavor says she’s surprised the center wasn’t aware of the theme.
