CAMBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - Bruce Springsteen had Cambridge in a frenzy.

There were long lines to see the Boss.

Fans were ready for the perfect moment with their idol—a once in a lifetime experience.

Springsteen visited the Harvard Coop on Monday to promote his best-selling memoir, “Born to Run.”

Hundreds of lucky fans lined up to meet him at the sold-out event.

One woman came all the way from New Jersey, Springsteen’s home state.

She was emotional as she spoke about how his music helped her get through some tough times.

Springsteen’s book talks about his childhood in New Jersey and his rise to fame.

The book also speaks about his personal hardships that helped inspire some of his songs.
