MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (WHDH) — One person is dead and five others are hurt after an apartment building goes up in flames in Manhattan.
The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning in a building on the city’s upper east side.
It quickly spread to two nearby buildings.
Officials say, one of the five injured is in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
