NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. (WHDH) - One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in North Andover Wednesday night and left two others injured.

The crash happened at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Waverly Road and the Salem Turnpike. The person on a motorcycle crashed and hit two pedestrians in a crosswalk. The motorcyclist was then lying injured in the road and police said he was hit by someone driving by the crash scene.

The victim is a 64-year-old Methuen man. He did not survive his injuries. The two pedestrians, a man and woman in their 30s, were taken to local hospitals.

Police would now like to talk to someone driving a four-door dark Mercedes that may have driven by the scene and possibly struck the motorcyclist. The police chief said it is possible the driver did not know they struck the victim.
