ALLSTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Thirteen people were displaced after a fire moved through a triple-decker home in Allston.

The fire broke out at the building on Linden Street. Firefighters said the fire began on the first floor and then spread to the other two floors.

“On arrival, encountered heavy fire and smoke; there was a power line that burnt through and we cordoned that area off,” said Deputy Chief Steve McNeil.

No one was injured in the fire. The deputy fire chief said the damage is estimated to be around $750,000.
