REHOBOTH, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Rehoboth are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery.

The robbery happened late Monday night at the Exxon gas station Winthrop Street. Clerk Tyler Altonian, 20, was working in the gas station’s convenience store when he said the two suspects came inside.

Altonian said one of them was holding a knife and ordered him to lie on the floor behind the register. He then said the suspects made him lie down on an aisle in the store. As he did so, Altonian said one of the suspects threatened him.

“He told me he would gut me if I looked up in the next 60 seconds,” said Altonian.

Police said the suspects got away with around $500 in cash cigarettes before they fled. Altonian said the two suspects were wearing all dark clothing and their faces were covered with black nylon masks.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 508-252-3722.
