WHDH Channel 7 will launch 7 NEWS at 7PM, a half-hour newscast scheduled to debut tonight.
Kim Khazei and Adam Williams will co-anchor 7 NEWS at 7PM, with Meteorologist Jeremy Reiner forecasting weather and Joe Amorosino covering sports.
“Adding a 7PM newscast only reaffirms our commitment to news and the people of New England,” said Paul Magnes, Vice-President and General Manager of WHDH-TV. “We will continue to be innovative and invest in the future of 7 News and this community.”
"Life is so demanding, we want to make it easy for people to stay informed and get connected at a time that works for them,” said Linda Miele, News Director of WHDH-TV. "Our new 7pm newscast will help them do that.”
7News at 7 p.m. can be watched over-the-air on Channel 7, on Comcast SD (7), HD channel (807), Verizon Fios SD (7) and HD (507), RCN SD (7) and HD (607).
