FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Federal authorities in northern Arizona have arrested two brothers sought in a homicide in the normally quiet western Massachusetts college town of Amherst.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 33-year-old Soknang Chham (cham ) and 35-year-old Soksot Chham were arrested without incident Tuesday after being spotted near a bus station in Flagstaff.

The Marshals Service says the arrests stem from an Oct. 15 fatal shooting outside an Amherst bar and that a motive for the shooting isn’t known.

However, the Marshals Service says in a statement announcing the arrests that information suggests that the victim had “laughed” at one of the brothers.

Authorities in Amherst previously identified the victim as 31-year-old Jose “Joselito” Rodriguez and said the shooting occurred at an apartment complex.
