Orlando, FL (WHDH) — A heartwarming Thanksgiving reunion when an airman came home from boot camp and surprised her family for the holiday.
19-year-old Terra Ford was returning home from boot camp in Texas but decided not to tell her family.
Terra called her mom and said she was on her way to have Thanksgiving with a family that adopts lonely airman for the holidays.
Little did her family know what was about to happen.
Terra’s mom was overwhelmed. Her tears were followed by hugs and kisses from the whole extended family.
The only one not surprised was Terra’s dad. He was in on the secret so he could make sure everyone was corralled on the back porch when Terra entered.
