April showers bring May flowers…welp, the first part is happening as I blog and some of those showers are rather intense. We’ll have these showers up until 10-11am and then some sunshine returns later this afternoon. These showers are tied to a warm front and this front will deliver the goods as temps jump into the 60s later today (if we get enough sun, upper 60s can happen but most cities/towns reach the low to mid 60s.) This warm front will also deliver our first batch of humidity–not the July-August stuff–but just enough to remind you of summer is next up on the seasonal carousel. The other element of the afternoon will be a developing wind which will gust close to 25 mph later today. Breezy, mild & dry weather expected this evening–including out at Fenway for the Red Sox game, temps near 60 for first pitch (6:10 start this evening).

Wednesday is a “cooler” day. We’ve made it though as the cooler reference means daytime temps will reach the mid 50s—which is normal for this time of year. By Thursday, our temps begin to warm again under mostly sunny skies. Daytime temps will reach the low 60s with a southerly breeze helping to warm things up. Clouds return on Friday and so does the risk of some showers by afternoon, they will be isolated and I bet a lot of towns won’t see a drop the entire day.

Enjoy the ever changing weather today!
