ROCKPORT, Mass. (WHDH) — Rockport Police said an arrest has been made in connection with an assault on a woman Wednesday evening.

Police said Angel Saul Perez Castro, 22, knocked the woman down from behind and then tried to remove her clothes. He then allegedly fled the area on the bicycle. The woman, who is in her 50s, suffered minor injuries.

Police released surveillance video from a local business, hoping to locate the suspect. Castro was located in his hometown of Gloucester and arrested.

Castro was charged with assault with intent to commit rape and assault and battery on a disabled person.
