Arrest made in connection with Tewksbury robbery

TEWKSBURY, Mass. (WHDH) — Police made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery in Tewksbury.

Surveillance pictures showed a man enter the store with a knife clearly visible.

Police said he threatened to stab the clerk before reaching into the cash register and grabbing almost $200 in cash.

Tewksbury Police said the man in the pictures is Frank Pendergast.

Officers arrested him Tuesday afternoon.

He was also wanted in connection with a robbery in New Hampshire.
