KINGSTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Four construction workers were injured Monday after a wall of an unfinished house collapsed on top of them in Kingston.

The incident happened on a construction site on Christmas Tree Lane. Officials said the workers were trying to lift the wall into place on the second floor when it came crashing down.

The worker with the most serious injuries was airlifted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with a back injury. Another was taken to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries and the other suffered minor injuries. All are expected to be OK.

The building inspector ordered a stoppage of work at the site while the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) investigates.
