I hope you and your family enjoyed a nice, long Easter weekend!  While the temps were a little cool, it was nice to enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, as we head back to work tomorrow, we’re in for a change in the weather.  Clouds move in late tonight and rain is a possibility by dawn.  But you know what they say, "Spring showers bring flowers…" or something like that!  :c)

Temperatures tonight will get very close to the freezing mark in many spots tonight, and there’s even the possibility that the magic number of 32° will be surpassed in some isolated areas.  Northern Worcester County and Southern New Hampshire are most likely to see overnight lows around 30-31°, which means there’s a chance for some freezing rain making for slick spots tomorrow morning.  This is not widespread, and the NWS has NOT issued any advisories for this… but it’s worth mentioning.

Rain moves into the picture around the start of the day.  As we head out the door and back to the grind tomorrow, the world will look very different than it did this weekend.  Patchy fog will be hanging around, and there will be that damp/raw feel sticking around all day.  Grab the rain-boots and the umbrella for tomorrow.  Rain could be heavy at times, and by the end of the day will amount to around 0.50-1.00".  Highs tomorrow could get into the low 50s across the South Coast, but for most of us, we’re stuck in the 40s tomorrow.

Sunshine makes a comeback for Tuesday/Wednesday!!  The one big catch is, it will be windy on Tuesday.  #IMHO it doesn’t matter what the weather is like, if there’s wind – I will probably stay inside (just a side note).  Low to mid 50s are expected for mid-week, and then THURSDAY is a wild-weather day.  The temperatures on Thursday have the potential to warm into the mid 70s in some spots.  The catch is, we’ll likely have mostly cloudy skies on Thursday to fight back that maximum-temperature-potential.  I’m still going to go with 70° on the extended forecast.  Hey, crazier things have happened!  Thursday is another windy day for us, and showers could move in during the evening… followed by scattered showers on Friday.

Not to be a party-pooper, but it’s worth mentioning that the start of April looks CHILLY.  Forecast models are hinting at a ridge out west, which would allow for cold air to pool into our backyard for a few days.  Maybe THIS will be winter’s last gasp… but it looks like we haven’t seen the last of Old Man Winter just yet.  Don’t pack away that heavy coat on Thursday!  Have a great week. – Breezy
