Yesterday I blogged about not having much to discuss–I guess I should be careful what I blog about. We have a feeble weather system moving into western New England–a cool front–and this system is about to ram into High Pressure. Thankfully the high pressure will win this battle….eventually.

Yeah, it won’t be a swift victory for High Pressure but on Thursday morning when heading toward the weekend, victory is good enough. The next couple of days the meteorological battle will wage overhead with clouds all over the place. In terms of rain, I don’t see much mainly just sprinkles/brief shower each of the next two days. We will also see some sunshine so I won’t put a washout stamp on either day but I would hold off on plans that require ample sunshine. It’s cool the next two days as well with afternoon temps only in the low 70s.

Saturday is when this meteorological battle wraps up as High Pressure builds in from northern New England. We start the day with clouds but sunshine arrives by midday & is with us for the rest of the weekend and into the start of next week. The cool air will be with us on Saturday (both days Cape Cod) but a warming trend commences on Sunday and continues into early next week.

Enjoy your Thursday
