Would the night of Halloween be a little simpler for parents and candy-givers if it were on a Saturday each year?
That is exactly what Pembroke Town Selectmen Arthur Boyle thinks, and he is a proposing a bill to make it a reality.
Pembroke’s state representative, Democratic Rep. Josh Cutler, is supporting Boyle’s movement to change Halloween to the last Saturday in October.
Boyle said the date change would help parents concerned about trick-or-treating on a school night.
