HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A teenager has been charged with murder in the death of a dirt biker who went missing the day after Christmas.

Kevin Weismore, 19, was taken into custody Friday after he led police to the body of Todd Allen, known as TJ, in a wooded area near Weismore’s home in Sterling, police said.

Weismore told police he stabbed Allen to death during a drug deal after Allen pulled a gun on him, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

“I knifed TJ, stabbing him in the stomach once using my right hand, and then stabbing him in the neck a few times,” Weismore said in a statement to police. “I stabbed him in the neck once, and he kept moving so I did it a couple more times. TJ fell to the ground. He kept trying to get back up, but he fell again because he died.”

Weismore, who police say knew Allen, is being held on a $1 million bond and can’t be reached for comment while in custody. He’s scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday. It’s unclear if he has an attorney who could comment for him.

Allen went missing on Dec. 26 after leaving his house on his dirt bike. A massive search turned up nothing.
