The Massachusetts State Police searched Chelsea High School Thursday night after someone made a bomb threat.
The school superintendent told parents the threat was found written in the high school.
The school system believes the threat is a hoax but police are taking it seriously.
Bomb squad crews swept the school and the superintendent says school will be in session Friday with added security.
