BOSTON (WHDH) - The Boston City Council met Monday to discuss the possibility of pushing back the start time for public high schools in Boston.

Currently, around half of Boston’s high schools start at 7:30 a.m. That means some students are out the door by 6 a.m.

Some research suggests this start time may be too early, as teenagers need more sleep to function.
