Boston Police have arrested a man and charged him with multiple drugs-related offenses. 

Around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force executed an arrest warrant on Brown Avenue in Roslindale. 

Officers arrested Dion Smith, 23 of Roslindale, who was wanted out of Attleboro District Court. 

Officers then obtained and executed a search warrant of Smith’s apartment. 

Officers found a 12-gauge sawed-off shotgun, several rounds of ammunition, 30 grams of cocaine, a large amount of marijuana packaged for sale, as well as $4,348. 

Smith will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on charges of possession of a sawed off shotgun, possession of a sawed off shotgun with an obliterated serial number, trafficking class B drugs and possession with intent to distribute class D drugs.
