BOSTON (WHDH) - The son of a Boston Police Captain has been charged with plotting an ISIS-inspired attack.
Alexander Ciccolo has been in custody since last July, accused of trying to use weapons of mass destruction in the U.S.
Ciccolo’s father told the FBI his son had expressed interest in joining ISIS.
The former Adams resident allegedly wanted to attack a university and was arrested a day after investigators say he bought a pressure cooker.
