BRAINTREE, MASS. (WHDH) - Braintree Police are investigating reports from two women that a suspicious man followed them on streets in the Watson Park neighborhood.

According to police, the first report was received shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23 from a 33-year-old Braintree woman who described the man as white, with neatly cut hair, 5’10”, clean shaven, wearing a white t-shirt and black basketball shorts.

Police said the man was carrying what appeared to be a white iPhone and a basketball.

The woman first saw the man at Watson Park where she was with her young son and noticed he followed her home, walked by her house a few times and then walked up her driveway.

The man left when he heard a dog barking.

There was no verbal or physical contact between the two.

A 29-year-old Braintree woman reported a similar incident Saturday, June 25 just before 11 p.m.

This woman described the man as white, between 18 and 22, wearing a solid blue t-shirt and black shorts.

She was walking on Arborway Drive near Argyle Road, when the man approached her from behind, grabbed her and then ran off in the opposite direction.

An investigation is now underway.
