No surprise, there are two "T's" in "stupidity".  And what word better describes the T's decision to give another contract to Parsons Brinckerhoff?

Apparently the T learned nothing from their oversight of the Big Dig, which cost billions more than it was supposed to, and killed a woman when a tunnel collapsed.

Still, according to Jeffrey Mullan, State Secretary of Transportation, Parsons Brinckerhoff is "…one of the great engineering companies in the United States."

Great!

Meanwhile, in Madison, Wisconsin, government is frozen – and the state budget is on ice. Take whatever side you want, but I promise you–one party leaving the state to deny a majority vote is bad for democracy.

Around the world, the Mideast, and North Africa, are exploding.  But into what?

Eight countries are caught in the cross-fires of revolution, and Washington seems to have no idea who will win, which, ultimately, will make us losers.

"In terms of the potential capabilities of the opposition, we're in the same realm of speculation, pretty much, as everybody else," said Robert Gates, Secretary of Defense .

No matter how you add it up, it doesn't add up.

And, at a certain point, when something doesn't make sense, it's nonsense.

I'm Andy Hiller, and that's my instinct.
