After a cool weekend, we got back on track yesterday afternoon as highs cracked the 80 degree mark for many towns.

We’ll continue to build on that today with highs reaching the middle to upper 80s inland.  At the coast, we near 80, then fall back into the mid to upper 70s with a sea breeze at the coast.  While most of the day is dry, an isolated shower/storm pops for a few towns.  Coverage area runs about 20%, so the storms that fire aren’t all that widespread.

As a cool front pushes into Southern New England tomorrow, showers and storms do fire.  Most of them are in the afternoon, and the coverage area will be the most widespread that we’ll see this week.  If you have outdoor activities planned, we’ll still get our dry hours in, just keep an eye to the sky.

Lower humidity moves in Thursday with a comfortable day ahead.  With that said, the atmosphere upstairs in cold for the time of year, so despite the low humidity, we still can have a pop-up shower/storm pass on by during the afternoon.

As high pressure builds in the end the week and roll into the weekend, the weather looks fantastic.  Low humidity, sunshine and highs near 80.  Onshore winds along the shoreline keeps beach temps in the 70s.

Enjoy!
