BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are searching for three suspects after a man was tied up and attacked in his house in Brockton.
Brockton Police said the 71-year-old man came home and found three masked men waiting to rob him. Friends of the man, whose name is Mike, said he is a Navy veteran who liked collecting things from garage sales.
Police said the suspects tied Mike up with his own suspenders and shot him with a stun gun repeatedly, demanding gold. Police say the robbers did get away with some old silver coins. Mike was left tied up for five hours before he could wriggle free and call for help.
Mike was taken to the hospital. Police said they are following several leads on the three suspects.
