Huntington, New York (WHDH) — A Long Island community held a candlelight vigil for a police officer killed while on duty.

Paul Tuozzolo was shot and killed in the Bronx Friday while trying to arrest a suspect who was holding a family hostage.

Hundreds of people gathered to mourn the 19-year veteran, including several local and state officials who spoke out during the ceremony.
