(WHDH) — Celebrities plan to boycott SiriusXM after the announcement that Steve Bannon is returning.
Last week, SiriusXM announced that President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist would host the “Breitbart News Daily” radio show.
Now, actors Seth Rogen and John Leguizamo, in addition to singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge, say they will boycott the broadcasting company for hiring Bannon.
Thousands of social media users also began sharing the hashtag “Boycott SiriusXM.”
SiriusXM released a statement Friday supporting the decision as a way to support the freedom of speech.
