BOSTON (WHDH) — The Celtics set to introduce the newest members of their team to the media Tuesday.
First round pick was Kelly Olynyk.
"Really excited, thrilled to be here. This franchise is a storied franchise with such great tradition…I mean coming here for the workout, you just walk into that facility and seeing all the banners and stuff, you know the aura around it. It's unbelievable,” said Kelly Olynyk.
Second round pick was Colton Iverson.
"I’m just excited to be here, put in a lot of work…there's not a whole lot of numbers left to choose from so, obviously there's been a lot of great players here and…I'm excited and thrilled to be here and put in the work,” said Colton Iverson.
The Celtics lack of depth in the front court could open up a spot for either big man to make an immediate impact. With summer league just a week away, the rookies ready to showcase their talent.
