(NBC) — Mars Petcare has announced a recall of one of its flavors of dog food due to a choking risk.
The company says it is recalling a limited number of Cesar Classics Filet Mignon flavored wet dog food.
The food is a choking risk due to hard white pieces of plastic that made its way into the food during the production process.
The food was sold individually as well as in flavor variety packs.
Anyone who has purchased the food should discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.
