BOSTON (AP) — Chelsea Clinton is planning to stump for votes at her mother’s alma mater, Wellesley College.
Chelsea Clinton will deliver a talk at the college Thursday as she tries to persuade millennial voters to cast a ballot for Hillary Clinton next month.
She’s expected to discuss her mother’s plan to make debt-free college available to all.
The plan is intended to ensure that costs aren’t a barrier to college and that debt isn’t too heavy a burden for students after they graduate.
According to the Clinton campaign, 56,000 Massachusetts students would pay no tuition for a four-year college degree under the plan.
Hillary Clinton graduated from the school in 1969 and gave the student commencement address.
Chelsea Clinton is scheduled to speak at the college at about 2:45 p.m.
