Marvel star Chris Evans will have some special guests at Tuesday’s premiere for his new film, "Captain America: Civil War."

Boston native Evans told Jimmy Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that he invited several members of the New England Patriots to join him on the red carpet. The famous Patriots fan said while owner Robert Kraft could not make it, Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman are expected to be there.

When Kimmel asked about tight end Rob Gronkowski, Evans scolded Gronk for not responding to his invitation. "I did invite him, I actually didn’t hear back," said Evans. "You know what Gronk, I’m putting that on you. I can’t believe I just started a beef with Gronk."

"Captain America: Civil War" premieres nationwide on May 6.
