BOSTON (WHDH) - Christmas in the City’s 29th Annual ‘Winter Wonderland’ party will host thousands of homeless children and families Sunday at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Nearly 5,000 children and 1,500 parents, who are experiencing homelessness or transitional housing in the greater Boston area, will be in attendance.
Santa and elves will be there, as well as the Blue Man Group.
The event is run by volunteers who work for the Christmas in the City organization.
The organization was founded in 1989 by Jake and Sparky Kennedy.
