BELMONT, MASS. (WHDH) - A scary scene for everyone involved, including the passengers on the commuter rail train that crashed into a car in Belmont.

Passengers were loaded onto a bus shortly after the crash.

Mike Bennet said it all seemed surreal looking out his window at work after hearing the trains horn, then watching the engine plow into the car sitting on the tracks at the railroad crossing here on Brighton Street in Belmont.

The train was headed inbound to Boston, loaded with 500 Friday morning commuters.

No one on board any of the five passenger trains was hurt.

Commuters waited 45 minutes before they were transferred to another train and continued on to North Station.

Concerned about the injured driver, Mike Bennet said he was also thankful that the kids are okay.
