HULL, Mass. (WHDH) — A man in hull targeted a tiny dog. The dog’s owner said he was walking on the beach with “Cleo” when a man came up and kicked the Yorkshire Terrier. When confronted, police said the suspect swore at the dog’s owner and ran away.
Cleo was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries to her head and face.
“As a dog owner myself, I was very angry. Hard to contain emotions, but through the job you learn. It’s just something of this nature is just horrible,” said Ashley Mills of Hull Animal Control.
Cleo ended up losing an eye as a result of the attack. The town is now raising money to help the dog’s family pay her medical bills.
