FREETOWN, MASS. (WHDH) - A dolphin was rescued in Freetown on Saturday after swimming too far upstream and becoming breached.

The dolphin was stuck for several hours before crews arrived to help out.

Crews arrived on South Main Street to get the dolphin out of the water.

The dolphin was later released back into the river.
