Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump responded to an editorial published by the Boston Globe on Sunday, criticizing the paper for its satirical look at a Trump presidency.

The Boston Globe published a mock cover of what they said could happen under a Trump presidency. The cover featured a headline about deportations beginning and stories about the stock market tanking and soldiers being ordered to kill relatives of ISIS militants. The paper’s editorial board said they hoped to "create a conversation about what a Donald Trump presidency could look like."

While at a campaign rally in Rochester, New York, Trump slammed the Globe, calling the paper "stupid."

"It’s worthless, it’s sold for a dollar," said Trump. "They pretended Trump is president and they made up the whole front page is a make believe story. Which is really no different for the whole paper."
