FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Former New England Patriots running back Kevin Faulk, who helped deliver three Super Bowl championships to the team in his 13-year career, has been voted by fans into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Team owner Robert Kraft said Wednesday that Faulk was a “selfless and tireless contributor to the team, accepting every challenge and excelling in many roles.”

The 1999 second-round draft pick out of Louisiana State University is the Patriots’ career leader in all-purpose yards, with 12,349, and kickoff return yards, with 4,098. He ranks fifth in team history in rushing yards, fifth in receptions, 12th in receiving yards and eighth in punt return yards.

Faulk’s induction ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 1. He’ll also be honored at halftime of the Sept. 18 home opener against the Miami Dolphins.
