Was chatting with some friends yesterday and the consensus regarding our summer weather……awesome. No different today with ample sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temps. The past few days we’ve had a healthy easterly wind from the ocean supplying us with scattered clouds and cool temps. That easterly flow settles down today which means more sunshine than Friday-Saturday and temps a bit warmer–especially away from the ocean. All in all, a great summer day.

Looking ahead we warm things up as we close the books on summer. Instead of an easterly flow in New England there will be a southwesterly flow and that southwesterly flow will grab some intense heat from the midwest and toss it into New England. Plan on temps reaching the low 80s tomorrow and approaching 90 by Wednesday–even Cape Cod will see a warm up with those beach temps in the upper 70s. Humidity eventually shows up to the party as well and by Wednesday evening a few t-storms may pop because of the heat & humidity. Cooler, comfortable weather returns for late week.

Enjoy!
