A father is breaking boundaries so his wheelchair-bound daughter can participate in a particularly magical marathon.

Dan Boyle and his 15-year-old daughter Courtney have completed more than 100 miles of races with his feet and her wheels.

They had their eyes set their sights on the Disney Princess Glass Slipper Challenge, but Disney said pushing wheelchairs was not allowed.

“That caught be by surprise actually,” Dan said.

He contacted the United States Track and Field Federation and asked them to reconsider.

“We got a phone call out of the blue, it was the director of the event himself who said we would like you to come down and take part,” Dan said.

Princess Courtney will be sporting a helmet with a built-in tiara.

“We got Disney to say yes to something and now we call Courtney a trail blazer," Dan said.

Dan and Courtney will also be running for a wheelchair-bound child in El Salvador that their family supports.
