BOSTON (WHDH) — With the end of the season came the news of which Bruins would be shipping out of Boston. In that group is defenseman, Andrew Ference.
Ference tweeted out a picture of him and Patrice Bergeron, sleeping on the flight to Chicago while wearing special massage pants.
When asked about his time playing for Boston, he responded, “Perfect. I mean we've had incredible success in our sport. Um, my kids have grown up here and have had a great education and our best friends in the world are from here. I don't know how to put it, I literally read through every twitter message and post, it's been incredible.”
Ference tweeted out to his fans, "I’ve read every message.Thank you doesn’t seem sufficient.This team, fans and city are incredible. It’s been an honor to become a Bostonian."
Ference has played with the Bruins since 2007 and won the Stanley Cup with them in 2011.
