Flames ripped through a home in Fitchburg on Monday.
Much of the house was engulfed while crews worked to put out the flames.
Officials say two people were home at the time and made it out safely.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire.
According to crews on the scene, ashes from a wood stove inside were to blame.
