BOSTON (WHDH) - The presidential race is tight according to a Franklin Piece University and the Boston Herald conducted a final national poll before election day.

The poll said 48 percent of participants voted for Clinton, and 44 percent voted for Trump.

Clinton dropped from 49 to 48 percent since the last Franklin Piece/Herald poll.

The poll was taken before FBI Director James Comey released the results of the latest investigation, revealing no new findings in Clinton’s personal e-mails.

The poll had a 3.1 percent margin of error.
