CARROLLTON, GEORGIA (AP) — A small plane made an emergency landing on a Georgia highway.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, this Aerostar 601-P twin engine landed at the intersection of highway 166 near 1-20 in Carrollton around 11 a.m.
The pilot who was the only person on board.
According to police, he ran out of fuel and had to land.
The flight departed from the Henry County Airport and was headed to West Georgia Regional Airport in Carrollton.
The FAA will begin an investigation.
